Greetings all

 

                Today is Presidents Day. A day our country created to honor primarily George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. As we remember these presidents and the accomplishments they have contributed to our country, I am reminded that our AORN governance is also a member driven volunteer representation of the members of AORN. As we prepare to gather in New Orleans, we have candidates to consider and votes to cast on the leadership of our organization. Have you reviewed the candidates’ statements in the January AORN Journal? Have you registered for the upcoming town hall on February 28th to meet the candidates at 12:00Noon Mountain time? We have the opportunity to make our voices heard in both our organizational elections and with our own state and federal government legislative activity. Have any of you ever met with a legislative representative before? What was your experience like.
