Benefits of local chapter membership:

- Provides an opportunity for developing personal leadership skills. - Provides an environment to further develop communication and presentation skills.  - Provides a mechanism for peer support, education, and networking at the local level.  - Opportunity to attend local educational programming and events.  - Fosters cooperation and collaboration with other professionals, at both the national and local levels. - Fosters the profession of hospice and palliative nursing.  - Free Continuing Education contact hours.

Membership with National HPNA is separate from our Fresno Sierra Chapter Membership and is required to become a Chapter Member and to vote in local Chapter elections and participate on the Steering Committee.

You do not need to be a nurse to join the Chapter. All disciplines are welcome.
