Hello Members and Followers!

Its that time of year again! We are looking to fill 2 board positions on our Chicagoland Chapter.  The first position is Secretary, which is a 2 year commitment.  

The other position is Vice-President Elect which is a 3 year position because the 1st year is VP, 2nd year is President and the 3rd year is Past President.  

The requirements for being on the board, is to be a member of our chapter (which is $25/year) and a current member of national HPNA. Active members of the board will vote in an election held in May and then the positions will start in June 2016.

Attached are the board positions responsibilities. The board meets and plans the educational events and chapter meetings. One board member is picked to go to the annual Leadership conference in Pittsburgh in July, which is all-expenses paid and is a very cool event.

We are looking for interested, engaged, fun nurses to join us on the board, as we continue to grow our chapter! If there is any other way you would like to help us out, just send an email to chicagolandchapterhpna@gmail.com.  The time commitment is very feasible for those working full time and you also earn "Professional Contribution" points with HPAR for each year of service!  We are a fun group--come join us!
