An item in the Update from TNMHO reported the following:

Wisdom Books will publish Awake at the Bedside: Contemplative Teachings on Palliative and End-of-Life Care, edited by Koshin Paley Ellison and Matt Weingast. The book focuses on stories of doctors, patients, chaplains, family members, and caregivers who sit at the bedsides of people who are dying or experiencing illness. The book is "equal parts instruction manual and contemplative testimony." It "imparts valuable lessons about relationship, grief, joy, and suffering, when sharing a sacred moment with another human being." An article in Huffington Post interviews Koshinn Paley Ellison. That article notes that the authors say, "This book is not about dying, it's about life and what it can teach us, it's about caring and what giving care really means."
