HPNA, HPCC, and HPNF need volunteers!
As a reminder, the 2017 HPNA Call for Volunteers is currently open. HPNA, HPCC, and HPNF continue to make a conscious effort to incorporate as many people as possible in each organization's decision-making processes through active involvement in advisory councils, review committees, and other unique volunteer positions. In fact, over 350 individuals volunteered in excess of 2,500 hours of time toward the shared mission of 'advancing expert care in serious illness' last year alone. There are numerous opportunities in the 2017 Call for Volunteers, including various new positions and required time commitments. The current listing of opportunities is noted in the survey link below.
Major areas of work include the following:
- The Membership Engagement Council
- The Advocacy Advisory Council
- Blog Authors
- Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
- Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation (HPNF) Review Committees
To view the full listing of available roles or to volunteer for a specific position, please utilize the following call for volunteers service tool: Start the 2017 HPNA Volunteer Application.
National office staff will refer to this listing over the course of the upcoming year to fill available volunteer positions. Please keep in mind, there may be other calls for volunteers from HPNA, HPCC, and HPNF throughout the year, so be sure to watch your email for future opportunities as they become available. The 2017 Call for Volunteers will be open until Tuesday, December 27th. We hope to work with you soon.
Thank you for your continued support of HPNA!
