As I've shared previously, our chapter and the Fort Worth chapter voted to merge, for shared strength and resources. The boards and other members met last evening to finalize this merger. We will also be consolidating our web sites. So! Go now to check out the

hpnafw.nursingnetwork.com site and "follow" it.

Our site will be going away in the next couple of months, as there is no need to have two sites now that we are one chapter.

We are all very excited about the opportunities provided by this joint action.

Incidentally, any of you who have not renewed your chapter membership, you can do that on the above site and use a credit card! We on the Dallas side have not had that option available up to now. So another plus of the merger!

We will begin having chapter meetings every other month on the second Tuesday of the month. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 14, at 6:00. The program topic will be Falls Prevention.

With the merger, we realized we need to have a more central meeting location. We are trying a couple of places and would appreciate feedback on how each works. The March meeting will be at the Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital of Arlington (BOSHA), which is at 707 HIghlander Blvd, Arlington. It is just off I-20 at Matlock.

Since we know a lot of folks live north, the May meeting (5/9, by the way) will  be at Baylor Scott & White of Irving.

Please plan to attend these meetings and let us know whether one location is much better or whether we should rotate between the two.
