Professional Achievements:

Working with Hispanic population is something that I've always enjoyed, and in my current employement I participate in a Spanish Engagement Committee where we explore and identify ways to better engage and improve our outreach to this community. I received the Optum Superhero award in 2016 for work in the Spanish engagement committee.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

I love being able to support and help my patients resolve their barriers that get in the way of managing their health and empowering them to lead healthier lives. Being an immigrant from Mexico, I have a passion to help my Spanish-speaking patients who face many barriers.
